Dena Masters reported to local Historic City News reporters that during the next regular meeting of the St Johns County Tourist Development Council on Monday, February 4, the Council will elect a chairman and vice chairman for calendar year 2013 as well as review and recommend appointments for two vacant member seats.

Historic City News was informed that one of the two drivers involved in a motor vehicle crash that occurred at about 6:45 a.m. this morning in the intersection at DuPont Center, has been taken to a local hospital in serious condition.

City Attorney Ronald W Brown, advising caution as Mayor Boles pushes for the removal of Information Center vendors, will introduce Susan S Erdelyi, an attorney and shareholder in the Jacksonville law firm of Marks Gray, P.A. to discuss potential consequences of an overreaching ban on all vendor activities.
