Commission to debate citizen awards
For the first time since Adjutant General Henry W McMillan was selected to be recognized with the City of St Augustine Order of La Florida award, the public will bear witness to the politics of bestowing civic awards during Monday evening’s City Commission meeting.



St Johns County School Superintendent, Joseph Joyner, Ed.D., has announced to local Historic City News reporters the names of the four finalists for “2012-2013 Teacher of the Year” — selected from 35 nominees representing each school in the School District.
