Shoplifting arrest uncovers mobile meth lab
Kevin Kelshaw reported to Historic City News that when sheriff’s deputies responded to a shoplifting call early Sunday evening, they discovered a mobile methamphetamine lab in the suspect’s vehicle; leading to the arrest of two men and one woman.



Beach Manager Billy Zeits reported to Historic City News that, due to high tides in excess of six feet, large surf from the northeast wind, and new-moon high tides, vehicle access to southern St Johns County beaches is temporarily restricted.

Historic City News has learned that American Legion Post 37 has purchased five hi-lift rescue jacks that will be donated to the St Augustine Fire Department to aid first responders in freeing crash victims trapped by automobiles or other heavy objects.
