Sallie O’Hara, A1A Scenic Historic and Coastal Byway administrator, acknowledged to Historic City News reporters in St Augustine the recent contributions of Friends of the A1A Scenic Historic and Coastal Byway in the St Johns and Flagler County area.
Last week the State Board of Administration released investment performance figures to Historic City News for Fiscal Year 2012-2013 showing that the Florida Retirement System Defined Benefit plan earned a 13.12% return — beating its benchmark by 111 basis points.
Historic City News was advised that a Matanzas High School English teacher and track coach was arrested this morning after a local teenager came forward and provided details of multiple sexual assaults between August 2010 and May 2011 while she was only 16‐years‐old.
Mary Cay Brock, St Johns Branch manager of Community First Credit Union in St Augustine, notified Historic City News of the organization of the “Community First Cares Foundation” — the only non-profit foundation administered by a credit union in the region.
