During spring and summer on Florida beaches, shorebirds build nests out of sand and shells and hatch chicks that can barely be seen, according to information received by Historic City News this morning from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
The Moody Blues returned to the St. Augustine Amphitheatre for their third engagement Saturday evening, and Historic City News Special Events Photographer, Mark Cubbedge, was on hand. The band played in the same venue on March 6, 2010 and March 17, 2011.
Last Monday, March 17, 2014, Historic City News learned that St Augustine native, 57-year-old David Allen Wehking, passed away; surrounded by his family at his home east of Charleston’s Cooper River in Mt. Pleasant, SC.
Historic City News readers are patriotically invited to attend the general meeting of the St Augustine Tea Party, this Tuesday, March 25th, starting at 6:30 p.m. when this month’s speaker will be William Korach, First Vice President of the St Johns County Republican Party and publisher of The Report Card.
