St. Johns County Tax Collector, Dennis W. Hollingsworth, C.F.C., reminds all Historic City News readers that 2013 property taxes are due March 31st and considered delinquent April 1st, when a 3% penalty applies.
After months of pressure and campaigning by Historic City News and our readers that started early last year, the City of St Augustine acted in favor of the voice of the citizens to add Internet streaming of city meetings directly from their website.
Historic City News has learned from sources close to the proposal that the City of St Augustine is in talks with a company who designs track and overhead electric systems for the distinct purpose of supporting historic streetcar systems, similar to a system that once transported residents and visitors here.
