Dear Editor and Historic City News readers:
First, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
Thank you to my wife Christina. Your love & support throughout this race has been incredible. I love you so much!

Historic City News reporters learned that yesterday, the Second District Court of Appeal issued a highly critical opinion of the City of St Petersburg Beach for refusing to release a copy of a public record documenting the discussion in a closed-door meeting attended by elected city officials.
In a race that could have been decided between the two candidates last night, had the field not been corrupted with a spoiler, political newcomer Nancy Shaver of Lincolnville shows St. Augustinians that there is hope for a more fiscally sound, resident-oriented, customer service driven community when she drew all but 29 votes as the man who has held the reigns at the City Commission table for the past six years.
The City of St Augustine is warning Davis Shores residents, both north and south of Anastasia Boulevard, to be expecting reduced water pressure and possibly discolored water during the month of September.
