In a communication sent earlier today from County Administrator Michael D. Wanchick to Leasing Team Lead Christine M. Rai, St Johns County put the Department of Veterans Affairs “on notice” that their failure to relocate the Community Based Outpatient Clinic before March 31, 2015, will cause the agency to be obligated to pay a $53,000 monthly penalty.

Commission says NO to 7-Eleven building permit

Neighbors protest 7-ElevenIn a new hearing on the question as to whether or not the City of St Augustine staff acted properly in issuing a building permit to 7-Eleven to construct a 24-hour convenience store with gasoline pumps, the city commission voted unanimously to uphold the appeal filed and led by neighborhood residents — rescinding the previously issued building permit.
