Executive Director Edward R. Wuellner reported to Historic City News this morning that ViaAir has added jet airline service on nonstop flights to and from Charlotte, North Carolina.

Historic City News readers in affected areas of St Augustine and St Johns County are warned to stay indoors tonight, Wednesday, October 19th, between 8:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. while the Anastasia Mosquito Control District performs overhead spraying to combat the outbreak of mosquitoes due to Hurricane Matthew and local flooding.

Chief Financial Officer Jeff Atwater informed Historic City News local reporters today that the Florida Department of Financial Services want to be certain that storm victims in St Augustine and St Johns County know their rights under the state’s Homeowner Claims Bill of Rights, Section 627.7142, Florida Statutes.
