Supervisor of Elections holds registration events
Vicky Oakes, Supervisor of Elections for St Johns County, reported to Historic City News that she and members of her staff will be busy registering new voters and answering questions about early voting, absentee voting or helping you to update your address if you are an existing voter.






At about 1:00 a.m. this morning, St Augustine Police responded to a call from a neighbor in the Harbour Vista community who reported hearing some commotion in the parking lot and observing someone tampering with cars.
A 37 year-old St Augustine woman, with a lengthy arrest history in St Johns County going back to 2006, was arrested again, Tuesday night; now charged with child abuse and aggravated assault with a baseball bat — against a man, who police say, was attempting to protect his six week-old child.
