Wil Smith becomes director of Parks and Recreation
St Johns County Administrator Michael Wanchick nominated Wil Smith for a promotion today — from interim director of the Recreation and Parks Department to Department Director; making permanent his role in the department after the resignation of Troy Blevins last October.






At their regular business meeting this morning, the St Johns County Commission gave approval to Sheriff David B. Shoar to purchase a quarter-million-dollar equipment and software package from AK Associates to replace our currently outdated 9-1-1 mapping system.
