Sheriff closes investigation into altercation



When Deputy Sheriff Charles K. Simpkiss responded to a verbal altercation call from 3304 Shore Drive in St Augustine South last night at about 7:00 p.m., he likely was not expecting to be until 3:43 a.m. this morning compiling his report.
Historic City News reporters were informed today that brothers Michael and Shawn Cona, whose residence is at 48 Fischer Lane in Palm Coast, are in custody in the Flagler County Jail charged with the June 22nd robbery of the Hancock Bank on Palm Coast Parkway.
