Students to perform in Junkanoo Rush Parade
Sacha Martin, a Junkanoo Event Coordinator, reported to Historic City News that students have been making costumes in order to perform in the Junkanoo Rush Parade in the Plaza for the Bahamian Island Junkanoo Celebration on Saturday May 16th.

Green sea turtle to be released Friday
Historic City News was notified that St. Johns County and State officials will release a juvenile green (Chelonia mydas) sea turtle to return to its native ocean this Friday, May 8, at 4:30 pm, near the Surfside beach access ramp in Vilano Beach.
