The Jacksonville-area chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) recognized Flagler College Media Specialist Elizabeth Daube and student Bailey Latham at the organization’s 2009 Image Awards according to an announcement received by Historic City News this morning.

Flagler College reported to Historic City News that students Kincaid Schmidt and Katherine Wrisley have received scholarships from Phi Beta Kappa, the nation’s oldest and most widely known academic honor society.

First turtle nests of the season

St. Johns County Habitat Conservation Coordinator Tara Dodson reported to Historic City News that the first leatherback turtle nests have been spotted and she is asking for beach drivers to limit their driving at night and early morning hours.
