Saturday evening show to benefit Vickers Park preservation
Lift Up Lincolnville Revitalization Corp. president Sue Agresta, announced to Historic City News that tomorrow, Saturday, November 8th, a benefit performance of the award-winning Broadway play, Clybourne Park, will take place at Limelight Theatre, 11 Old Mission Avenue, uptown St. Augustine.

In the current issue of The St Augustine Report, former mayor George Gardner has questioned if the city’s plan to collect a $350,000 state grant to restore, to a condition of usability, the former San Marco Avenue Water Works building will hit a snag when the required “Assessment of Effect” document is prepared.
Volunteers are being sought to assist with site shifts, visitor services, special events, academic research and a variety of other tasks at one of St Augustine’s best known historical attractions and an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution; the St. Augustine Lighthouse & Museum.
The River House, home to the St Johns Council on Aging, located at 179 Marine Street, has invited Historic City News readers to participate in the upcoming public events during the month of November.
