There it was — an entire era in one place at one time. Talk about an overlap of the time-space continuum. The weather was already in the 80’s at 8 a. m. and predicted to be hotter by mid-afternoon. Just in the action of standing still, clothes became wet. Moving made the wet patches larger, and the shade offered little relief.



Officially commencing on October 1, 2013, Historic City News has learned that the City of St Augustine has entered into a “Homeport 450th Dockage Agreement” with Fundacion Nao Victoria, owners of El Galeon Andalucia, to dock and operate one or more Spanish historical replica tall ships at the Municipal Marina; continuing through January 1, 2016.
The American Automobile Association named St Augustine as one of the 10 most walkable cities in North America, and it’s no wonder for a small downtown, whose streets were laid out in the 1590’s, we are a tightly compact small community of 13,000 whose town center is a mixture of residential, attractions, museums, restaurants and retail shops as well as historical monuments, churches and a college.
