The St. Johns County local news desk has been advised of a neighborhood meeting to gather residents’ input on proposed traffic solutions to be held tomorrow night in the Heritage Landing Amenity Center, 370 Heritage Landing Parkway.
At a special joint meeting of local commissioners and U.S. Congressman John L. Mica held yesterday in the Virginia Room of the Ringhaver Student Center of Flagler College, Congressman Mica says that he is “confident” of Amtrak funding.
The local St. Augustine news desk learned that resident, Kevin O’Brien, spent the hottest part of last summer chasing pythons in the Everglades and tonight his work may be viewed in an episode of “Explorer”.
In a communication received by the local St. Augustine news desk, The Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine has announced to Historic City News the schedule of Masses for Ash Wednesday as well as other special services during the season of Lent.
Historic City News has learned that the University of Florida Alumni Association of Greater Washington DC is awarding two (2) scholarships in the amount of $1,250 each to University of Florida students with unpaid internships in the DC metro area during the 2010 calendar year.
