Lunchtime St Augustine Shores fire under investigation
St Johns County Fire Rescue informed local Historic City News reporters that they responded to a residential structure fire in the 600 block of Bahia Court in St Augustine Shores at approximately 11:40 a.m. Monday.







Three North Carolina residents in their early 20’s found themselves behind bars at the St Johns County Detention Facility Tuesday evening according to a report filed with Historic City News by St Augustine Beach Police Chief, Robert A. Hardwick.


Firefighters with the St Augustine Fire Department responded to the scene of a house fire with injuries and property damage on Saturday morning, according to information obtained by local reporters at Historic City News.
Details in this morning’s robbery attempt in Julington Creek were provided to Historic City News today as detectives with the Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit continue their investigation.
Historic City News learned that a man attempted to rob the Compass Bank located in the Bartram Oaks Walk shopping center in Julington Creek this morning, only to be shot by a citizen who happened to be at the bank, saw what was going on, and was carrying a handgun.
