Victim of fatal collision identified
St. Augustine Police Department Public Information Officer Mark Samson reported to Historic City News that a positive identification has been made in fatal traffic collision that occurred late Tuesday night, July 5th.



Historic City News reporters attended a press conference this afternoon where Flagler County Sheriff Don Fleming announced that six men, believed responsible for ATM, commercial and home burglaries, vehicle thefts and illegal narcotics sales throughout the State of Florida over the past three years, have been taken into custody.
Public Information Officer Mark Samson reported to Historic City News that the St. Augustine Police Department has responded to three auto burglaries from the Alligator Farm and three auto burglaries from the YMCA in recent days.
Sheriff’s detectives have reported to Historic City News that they have identified six suspects, including five juveniles, who they say are responsible for a number of auto burglaries that occurred in the St. Augustine Shores community early Saturday morning.
Historic City News received an incident report from the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit where deputies are investigating a three vehicle crash that occurred early this morning in Ponte Vedra Beach.
South Carolina Probation and Parole agents have been looking for 44 year-old William Henry Woodson who is a convicted child sex offender that violated his probation; Historic City News has learned that their search is over.
Historic City News has been notified that at about 4:30 p.m. this afternoon, 51 year-old Frederick James Andrews was arrested in connection with the vehicular homicide of 18 year-old Shae Lynn Burchfield of St. Augustine.
