Confession in violent Fruit Cove murder



Public Information Officer Mark Samson reported to Historic City News that the St. Augustine Police Department was contacted by a local resident who reported that he was on the receiving end of an Internet scam and he wants to forewarn others before they become victims.
St. Johns County Sheriff David Shoar announced to Historic City News this morning that the agency has been awarded reaccredited status by the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation and is only the third agency in the state to receive the prestigious “Excelsior Agency” award.

United States Attorney Robert E. O’Neill announced to Historic City News that a convicted sexual offender from Tennessee, who failed to register once he moved to Putnam County, pled guilty to federal charges in Jacksonville last week.
