Vernon Stroman enters guilty plea to federal kickback charges

A 39-year-old St Augustine businessman pled guilty today in an agreement with federal prosecutors to charges that he violated the “anti-kickback” statute. He faces a maximum penalty of five years in federal prison.

The Florida Highway Patrol reported to Historic City News this morning that a 19-year-old man is dead after the motorcycle he was driving crashed on SR-A1A near A Street in St Augustine Beach.
