Historic City News was informed that a double-shooting occurred in St Johns County late this afternoon in the 4400 block of Carter Road.

A federal jury has found 30-year-old Justin Gregory Pennington guilty of one count of conspiracy and nine counts of wire fraud today, according to a report filed with Historic City News by Acting United States Attorney W. Stephen Muldrow.

Historic City News learned that in a joint action, city police and sheriff’s deputies have re-arrested 74-year-old Errol D. Jones, the one-time city commissioner and vice-mayor of the City of St Augustine.
