16th annual Retirement Expo coming to mall
WFOY President Kris Phillips informed Historic City News local reporters that the 16th Annual Retirement Expo will be held at the Ponce de Leon Mall in St Augustine from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 13th.

Yesterday was a special day at Castillo de San Marcos, when the National Monument celebrated its groundbreaking in St Augustine 340-years ago; according to an announcement received by Historic City News from park guide, Jesse Olbrich.
Although she tells Historic City News that she is expecting about 30,000 absentee ballots to be mailed to St Johns County voters before the November 6 Presidential Election, Supervisor of Elections, Vicky Oakes, reported that the first 9,000 will be receiving their ballots later this week.
