Model Land neighbors join mayor for walk

Yesterday afternoon, city residents in the Flagler Model Land neighborhood, including a number of Historic City News readers, participated in Mayor Shaver’s first “Walks with The Mayor” event.
A bill making its way through the legislature aims to tighten the screws on those who violate an order of protection; typically awarded to the victim of domestic violence, date rape, sexual violence, stalking, and cyberstalking.
One of the most controversial night time noisemakers on the north end of St George and Spanish Streets has arguably been Local Heroes; the business has been on probation twice.
A “Farm to Fork” brunch, using locally sourced products, will be prepared by Chef David Bearl and served on Sunday, April 19th at 9:30 a.m., during the 20th Anniversary of St Augustine’s Flower and Garden Expo; a fundraiser for EPIC Behavioral Healthcare.
