New Flagler Sheriff Takes Office

Historic City News learned that Flagler County’s new Sheriff, James L. Manfre, was sworn-in Tuesday afternoon by Circuit Court Judge Dennis Craig as a large crowd of well-wishers gathered at the Sheriff’s Operations Center in Bunnell.

St Augustine residents have not been spared from attacks of the flu over the holidays; and, reports from area urgent care centers indicate that tourists coming to town on vacation are one of the reasons for the recent spike.
