King Street closes for drainage repairs
Sandra Manci reported to local Historic City News reporters that roadway drainage improvements on King Street, between US-1 and Malaga Street, are scheduled to begin on Monday, January 10th, according to the Florida Department of Transportation.

The St. Johns County Republican Executive Committee invited Historic City News reporters to attend this evening’s grand opening of a permanent office for the Republican Party locally in St. Augustine.
Historic City News was informed that a missing 13 year-old boy who was last seen this afternoon in the back yard of a neighbor’s home, was located by St. Johns County deputies in little more than an hour after his disappearance was first reported.
Historic City News has learned that Dr. Terrence R. Steiner, the medical examiner who performed forensic autopsies in criminal investigation for twenty-one years in St. Johns, Flagler and Putnam counties, resigned last week at the age of 65.
St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office Robbery-Homicide Detectives George Harrigan and Charles Brantley alerted Historic City News crime reporters that they are investigating the discovery of human remains located on State Road 16 this morning.
