Molasses Junction Tea Party hears candidates
When the Molasses Junction Tea Party holds their regular meeting next Wednesday, October 10, 2012, Historic City News has been informed that candidates for the remaining County Commission contests will address the members and guests.



Historic City News has learned that US News and World Report White House correspondent Ken Walsh would be the next guest speaker as part of the 2012 Forums on Government and Public Policy lecture series.

High ranking dignitaries, some with security details, came to St Augustine yesterday to discuss plans for Viva 500; the State of Florida’s promotional program to commemorate five-hundred years since Ponce de Leon claimed La Florida in the name of the Spanish crown.
Liliana Kurpanik, President of the Republican Women’s Club of St Johns County, announced to Historic City News reporters in St Augustine that two candidates for seats in local government will speak at their October 17 meeting.
The female store clerk at Sharps Liquor on Moody Boulevard in Palm Coast reported to police that, around 5:19 p.m. last night, two black men, both in their early 30s, drew a pistol on her and demanded money from the cash register — along with a $100 bottle of Hennessy.
Thanks to a generous gift from St Augustine resident Gina Burrell, today the City of St Augustine Streets and Grounds Division is able to plant three palms and two Crape Myrtles in the vicinity of San Marco Avenue and Ballard Street.
