Matanzas High School student arrested
Historic City News has been informed that a Matanzas High School student who was born in St Augustine, was arrested this morning after he attacked a Flagler County school resource deputy; following a fight in the school cafeteria, located at 3535 Old Kings Road in Palm Coast.



The National Geographic Emerging Explorer, Barrington Irving, impressed Historic City News editor Michael Gold Saturday, during two inspirational presentations in the Palencia Elementary School cafeteria; both were part of the St Johns County Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math Fair.
On Saturday, Historic City News accompanied third, fourth and fifth-grade students from St Johns County elementary schools who attended the inaugural St Johns County School District Elementary Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math Fair; held at Palencia Elementary School.
Several local Historic City News readers reported that they attended this morning’s groundbreaking ceremonies for two news schools located in northern St. Johns County.
Recently the Child Development Education Alliance, Inc. honored Little Blessings Learning Center, located at 110 Masters Drive in St Augustine, during their first “Gifts of Service” Awards Dinner, according to an announcement received by Historic City News today.
