Editorial: A new prayer for students
America’s moral compass has been taking a nosedive lately.
Our high school students are not afforded the most basic of their constitutionally protected rights to freedom of expression and peaceful assembly because the overtly vocal minority may take offense.

Letter: Why we do what we do
Cheryl Freeman, volunteer coordinator for the St. Johns County School District, reported to local Historic City News reporters that three individuals were honored as St Johns County’s “Outstanding Volunteers of the Year” at the sixth annual Volunteer Recognition Reception held recently at First Coast Technical College.
Laurie Sanderson reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.
