St Johns County Fire Rescue spokesman, Matthew Sara, reported to Historic City News that at about 1:30 p.m. this afternoon, firefighters and emergency medical personnel responded to a home in the 5000 block of Big Oak Road South; in a neighborhood west of the Northeast Florida Regional Airport at St Augustine.
The downtown streets will become the course for the St Augustine Half Marathon this weekend, November 16-17; when thousands of participants from across the United States, and even internationally, participate in the family-oriented event to benefit Project Autism of St Johns.

I recently read an article about the Public Protection Classification (PPC), provided by the Insurance Services Office (ISO). It was revealed that State Farm has decided that it is smarter for them to use their own actual loss experience, rather than to rely solely on the ISO guide, to determine ratings for homeowners shopping for insurance.
