Search continues for second home invasion robber
Monday morning, shortly before 2:30 a.m., Historic City News learned of a home invasion robbery at a residence in the 600 block of Francis Street in St Augustine when Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene.



Letter: Funding panel procedures not followed
Tourist Development Council member Scott M. Bartosch of St Augustine has served as an un-compensated representative responsible for developing tourism in St Johns County since the TDC was reconstituted by the Board of Commissioners in 2010.

Matthew Sara reported to Historic City News that firefighters from Station 14 played host to a group of local day school students this morning. The kids got the chance to take a VIP tour of the firehouse and see where, when there’s a fire, a loud bell rings, a red light goes off, and our county’s first responders have to jump out of bed and go to work.
