Deputy Thomas Bickhart spent New Year’s Day in the hospital this year after the patrol car he was driving crashed with a silver Volkswagon near the intersection of US-1 and SR-312.

Robert A. Hardwick, Chief of Police for St Augustine Beach, reported to Historic City News that during last night’s Beach Blastoff 2015, there were some minor miscellaneous calls for service for both law enforcement and medical personnel; however, there were no arrests and no one was transported to the hospital.
