McDaniel given exception for billboard-sized mural
A split vote Monday night when the St Augustine City Commission decided to allow Philip McDaniel and his investors, who are converting a portion of the former ice plant on Riberia Street into a micro-distillery, to convert the side of the historic building into a billboard.

Historic City News was informed by St Johns County Sheriff’s spokesman, Kevin Kelshaw, that on Saturday October 12 at about 6:39 p.m., deputies responded to a reported sexual battery of a teenage girl that was said to have occurred inside his apartment.
In accordance with Florida State Statute 775.21, this news release will serve as public notification that the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office has been given information that a person judged to be a sexual predator has relocated his residence within St. Johns County.
