Terms of county attorney contract up for negotiation
Historic City News local reporters have learned that the current contract between St Johns County and County Attorney Patrick F McCormack expires on April 15, 2013; and, when the county commission meets on next Tuesday, the item will be taken up for discussion.






There was little doubt by Historic City News reporters that former St Augustine city commissioner Donald A Crichlow had the advantage over the dozen or so other applicants who expressed interest in being considered to fill the remaining two years of resigned commissioner Bill Leary — and, last night, it was only a matter of minutes before the decision was finalized.

Historic City News readers will have two meetings of the St Augustine City Commission to attend on Monday afternoon — prior to the regular at 5:00 p.m. business meeting, commissioners will meet in a workshop at 4:00 p.m. to discuss what some residents believe is the misuse of the PUD to circumvent protections afforded by city zoning.
