Today is the last day of school for two-year-olds through pre-kindergarten students at Trinity Episcopal Learning Center; and, the last of a three-day “Water Day” celebration of summer, Director Tammy Walthall told Historic City News in St Augustine this morning.
A change in requirements adopted by the St Johns County Tourist Development Council for members of the Arts-Culture-Heritage Funding Panel, making ineligible persons serving as officers or directors of not-for-profit organizations who apply for funding, led to the resignation of all but one member of the former Category II funding panel when their terms expired.

According to records obtained from Florida’a Division of Elections, Historic City News has learned that all sitting St Johns County circuit judges are unopposed for re-election to their respective group seats.
Mayor Gary Snodgrass informed St Augustine Beach City Commissioners at their regular meeting this evening that early this afternoon he had received and accepted Chief of Police Richard Hedges’ letter of resignation — effective immediately.
