Outdoor services celebrate Easter Sunday
Historic City News readers will have their choice of several beachside worship services celebrating Easter Sunday across St Johns County, from Ponte Vedra Beach to Crescent Beach; followed by the traditional Easter Day Parade complete with an appearance by the St Augustine Royal Family and entourage.






The Art Galleries of St Augustine invites Historic City News readers to enjoy the latest exhibits, music, entertainment and refreshments at more than 20 local art galleries tonight as a fifteen-year tradition continues with the First Friday Art Walk.

Historic City News learned that, last night, agents with the US Marshal Service took 38 year-old James David Gruner into custody under outstanding warrants alleging exploitation of the elderly from both St Johns and Putnam Counties.
In an emotional ceremony recognizing two high-school teens, Historic City News reporters interviewed Cody Decker and Luke Vaughn this morning as Flagler County Sheriff Donald W. Fleming presented the 17 year-olds with lifesaving awards in what has to be the best “feel good” story in northeast Florida this year.
The City of St Augustine notified Historic City News readers that the Easter Parade, scheduled for Sunday, April 8 at 3:00pm, will necessitate traffic detours and restricted parking in the downtown and San Marco Avenue areas.
