Kick-off picnic for Northwest Republican Club
Harlan Mason, Chairman of the St Johns County Republican Party, invited Historic City News Republican readers and their families to attend the kick-off picnic this Saturday, March 10th, in the park at Julington Creek Plantation.






Nestled against a backdrop like no other in the city, the Colonial Spanish Quarter, whose operations were closed last year, will reopen for a special event on Saturday, March 10 from 10:00am until 4:00pm.
Florida Living History spokesman Davis Walker announced to Historic City News reporters that a major grant of $15,000 has been awarded to the local organization by the Florida Humanities Council; the state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
