Dear Editor:
The minor furor in today’s St. Augustine paper is a bit misleading: I would like Historic City News readers to know that our mooring fields provide a good service to cruisers and residents of St. Augustine and St. Johns County alike.






St. Augustine Visitors and Convention Bureau Communications Director Jay Humphreys informed Historic City News reporters that Nights of Lights is right around the corner.
The four-state Gullah Geechee Cultural Heritage Corridor Commission will hold its final 2011 quarterly meeting at 9:00 a.m. November 11th at Dorchester Academy, located at 8787 East Oglethorpe Highway in Midway, Georgia.

The St. Johns River State College Board of Trustees announced to Historic City News in St. Augustine that, during this month’s meeting, a new chairman was appointed.
