Released under $3,500 bond yesterday, Historic City News has learned that a 31 year-old St. Augustine man was arrested by local police and has been charged with false imprisonment, battery and harassment in connection with a domestic disturbance that occurred last weekend.

Sheriff rounds up the “Hastings Four”

Historic City News learned that sometime between midnight and 4:50 a.m. Sunday morning, four men from Hastings decided to go speeding through the streets, damaging and stealing mailboxes and other property, until they were captured shortly after 7:00 a.m.

When Fire-Rescue responded to 28 John Street in St. Augustine at about 8:59 p.m. Sunday evening, Historic City News was told that emergency personnel thought they would be attending a heart attack victim — not a murder victim.
