Hundreds attend Blessing of the Fleet

At 9:00 a.m. this morning, Historic City News was on hand as the mayor, commissioners, residents and other city and other private sector dignitaries, assembled at the north end of the Marine Supply & Oil Company parking lot to break ground on the long awaited Riberia Street Rehabilitation Project.
Historic City News readers are invited to attend a mixed media art exhibit produced by St. Johns County employees on display from April 19th through June 15, 2011 in the Rotunda Gallery of the County Administration Building.

Jay Kislak was born and educated in Hoboken, New Jersey. He received a degree in economics from the Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania in 1942 and immediately joined the Navy, serving as a naval aviator during World War II.
