Deaths ruled murder – suicide
Historic City News reporters were notified that St. Johns County Sheriff’s deputies responded to an E-911 call at 11:35 p.m. Thursday evening from a man who stated that he shot his wife and he was walking outside — to shoot himself.




The invitation begins, “University of Florida President Dr. J. Bernard Machen cordially invites you to a celebratory evening in Historic St. Augustine.”
Castillo de San Marcos Superintendent Gordie Wilson told Historic City News reporters and commissioners at their meeting this week, that, as early as this month, the City of St. Augustine could be selling tickets for admission to the fort.
Assistant Supervisor of Elections, Vicky Oakes, reminds Historic City News readers that the last day to register to vote in the General Election is Monday, October 4th.
Less than two weeks from now, the St. Augustine-Ketterlinus High School Alumni Association, Inc. reminds Historic City News readers that they will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of St. Augustine High School, at its Varella Avenue location, with a dinner at the Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village.
Artists, really? I’m downtown everyday and I’ve yet to see any artists down there. All I see is a bunch of lazy, smelly, worthless weirdo’s begging for handouts. Keep going city, get rid of the trash.
