During this time of the year I would like to remind all of our citizens, as well as visitors, that St. Johns County schools are back in session — which means that our children are going to and from school daily.

Early voting ended yesterday at 4:30 p.m., and Supervisor of Elections Penny Halyburton reported to Historic City News that a total of 8,398 ballots were cast countywide.

At approximately 4:00 p.m. Friday, Historic City News learned that St. Johns County and City Fire personnel were responding to a residential structure fire in Marsh Creek subdivision.
