City makes initial mooring ball placement
General Services Director Jim Piggott and other city officials were on hand this morning for the initial mooring ball placement; marking the next step in the mooring field portion of the city’s Harbor Management Plan.

Historic City News reporters have learned that Sheriff’s deputies responded to Crescent Beach shortly before 5:00 a.m. this morning — following a call for help that a fisherman had fallen into the Intracoastal Waterway.
At Tuesday’s meeting of the Board of County Commissioners, Public Works Director Joe Stephenson and staff member Rocky Agbunag were recognized for receiving the Special Achievement in GIS Award from the Environmental Systems Research Institute.
Flagler College reported to Local Historic City News reporters that Cal Colgan, a Flagler senior and co-editor of the college’s student newspaper, recently won a first place award for Best Editorial-Opinion Column from the Florida College Press Association.
