The Downtown Coffee Club, loosely organized in the late 1950’s or early 1960’s, keeps me entertained and informed every day — and although I attend for the conversation, we are, after all, coffee drinkers.

Bunnell celebrates Second Annual Potato Festival

While cabbage and sod are Flagler’s staple crops today, the potato remains an important agricultural feature and iconic figure of the county’s agricultural heritage and for more than a century, the spud was a staple crop in the Western part of Flagler County — chiefly grown for potato chips.
