A word or two about the city fire fee

As a Floridian, Canada offers freedom from the heat of summer during this time of year, and was the ideal location to celebrate my wife’s 50th birthday. While vacationing in a vast change of scenery and climate, we were compelled to visit historic sites of freedom as well, including the actual site of the suspension bridge used by southern slaves to reach freedom while crossing over into Canada.

Following up on a story that appeared in Historic City News yesterday, two Hastings teenagers have been arrested in connection with the homicide of a 28-year old man whose body was discovered Saturday evening.

Kevin Kelshaw reported to Historic City News that detectives with the Sheriff’s Office Robbery Homicide Unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man found in a wooded area this morning.
