Historic City News was notified that the St. Augustine City Commission and the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners will meet in a joint workshop on Wednesday, June 3rd.
Historic City News is awaiting the results of the autopsy by District Medical Examiner, Dr. Terrence Steiner in order to report a positive identification and cause of death of the victim of an apparent drowning over the weekend.
In an editorial that appeared in the Charlotte Sun yesterday, the newspaper’s staff took the position that their county commission should force Charlotte County Sheriff William Cameron’s hand with regard to his proposed annual budget.
Kevin Kelshaw reported to Historic City News that at this hour the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office, along with County Marine Rescue personnel, are searching the ocean near the Matanzas Inlet for a missing swimmer.
