With confidants of Governor Charlie Crist saying over the weekend that the governor plans to announce this week that he’s running for U.S. Senate instead of seeking re-election, the 2010 governor’s race starts today.
Gwendolyn Duncan reported to Historic City News that St. Augustine civil rights heroes will be honored in 2009 — the year that marks the 45th Anniversary of the Signing of the Landmark Civil Rights Act of 1964.

LAMP Director Chuck Meide reported to Historic City News that the Niña and Pinta are scheduled to make a trip to the Nation’s Oldest Port however, this time they will dock in St. Augustine.
