Historic City News is pleased to announce that members of the St. Augustine City Commission will lead a groundbreaking ceremony to officially mark the start of construction of the city’s newest park, the Davis Shores Neighborhood Park.
The new county auditorium was full as Historic City News and others watched two new members and one re-elected incumbent of the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners sworn into office this morning.
“You get one bite at the apple”, Sheriff David Shoar said in an interview today with Historic City News.
UPDATE: Shortly after 10:00 a.m. today, Benjamin Colenn Lightsey, 30, 541 N. Horseshoe Rd., turned himself in with his attorney. He was charged with first degree murder and was booked into the County Jail where he is being held without bond.
