Donna R. and Scott G. Wendler are largest single owners of real estate in Block G of the Model Land Company subdivision. Historic City News found that together with their company, Wendler Properties, they own eight building lots purchased between 1998-2006; four that face King Street and the connected four that face Oviedo Street. The area is about 55,300 square-feet with a perimeter of about 950 ft.

Charles Robert Seraphin is a name that many of the 13,000 St Augustine city residents likely wouldn’t know were it not for the fact that Historic City News reported when Seraphin reached out to the 80-year-old writer of a Letter to the Editor, and confronted him over the telephone because he wrote that, although he liked former mayor Joe Boles, he was voting for our current mayor, Nancy Shaver.

As recently as last month, it continues to be apparent to observers of city government just how much ousted mayor Joe Boles, his family, friends, hand-picked board members, political appointees, and loyalists in the employ of the City, have not gotten over his defeat, despite the fact it occurred a year ago.
