First Amendment under attack in St Augustine FL

Over the last year, with the current contract for driver license and identification card (DL/ID) issuance expiring, the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (Department) and Florida Tax Collectors, have worked together to explore all available options and review emerging technologies in which these credentials can be issued to our customers.
Mayor Nancy Shaver read a proclamation recognizing Greek Landing Days during Friday September 4th and Saturday September 5th events at St Photios Greek Orthodox National Shrine on St George Street.
As Historic City News editor Michael Gold toured the 450th Commemoration entertainment venues, it wasn’t long before the heat and humidity became a major factor likely to curtail our crew’s enjoyment of the many talented performers included in the lineup.

Dear Editor:
Recently a local St Augustine newsletter published a story titled “Matanzas”, quoting the account of a reference found at the National Humanities Center.
Additional charges were filed against a man and woman who eluded capture overnight according to an update received by Historic City News this evening.
